Speaking of facebook, I've been kicking around the idea of going off facebook this year and just sticking mainly to blogging. There's several reasons for this. One of which being I waste a lot of time on facebook that I could be spending crafting, cleaning, writing, journaling, devotionalizing... I think I'd feel a lot less overwhelmed if I disciplined myself to process my stress in ways other than exploding jewels on Bejeweled blitz or candy crush. My second favorite way of stress-processing is hoarding craft patterns on Pinterest, but I think thats actually somewhat inspirational and beneficial so I won't swear that one off just yet.
The other main reason is that I have been on a mission to weed out as much unnecessary drama from my life and Facebook does not help me accomplish that mission one bit. My inner Jr. Higher feeds off of the newsfeed in a most ridiculous way, and its not helping me cure myself of my genetically inherent Drama Queen.
I think the accountability of simply NOT being available to Facebook would be good, but the trouble is there are a bunch of people that I really enjoy keeping in touch with. Mainly my overseas friends, but there's a few local ones as well. So still weighing all my options.
Thats really all the interesting news i can think of right now... everything else is still too fresh to be put out into cyberspace for public consumption.
That and Happy New Year everyone!
